We enjoyed a jam packed itinerary over two days in September with 17 members and guests. We were treated to a private museum tour at the MOMA (Rauschenberg), a quick look at Met Breuer, and a pre-sale Champagne reception at Heritage Auction House, followed by dinner at the Harvard Club. The following morning we were off on a jaunt to the NY Botanical Garden to view Chihuly's massive installation of glass sculpture. We capped off the second day with a private tour of the Calder exhibition at the Whitney and learned a bit about the architecture of their new building. At last, we strolled the High Line and descended to the prominent gallery, DC Moore, for a sneak peak at Janet Fish's work. Modern art study year -- officially has begun.
